I was excited to read a new article on php|architect magazine edition December 2006 titled PHP Phone Home by Sean Coates, developer and the Editor-in-Chief of the php|arch magazine. Finally someone was interested into telephony and PHP, and Sean in this article explores a new opportunity to use Asterisk Gateway interface with PHP, how to control Asterisk and fetch user input.
