PHP VoiceXML Magazine moved, update your bookmarks

The new official domain for PHP VoiceXML Magazine is now http://voicexml.phpmagazine.net, we have moved to a new publishing plateform and started moving all our blogs. All links will be redirected to the subdomain inspite of the main phpmagazine.net website.

There is some changes on the design to fit the main design of phpmagazine.net, but just keeping the same colors as the previous IVR PHP VoiceXML Solutions and same logo. The website is also change its name to PHP VoiceXML Magazine to fit better our orientation as PHP developers for the VoiceXML applications and telephony solutions in general.

The point on the VoiceXML PHP Framework

In the previous months we talked about the VoiceXML PHP Framework as a solution to develop easily VoiceXML applications for the enterprise, and I think I have provided enough solutions as a first step for this project. The next step will be more focused on the management aspect of IVR PHP VoiceXML Solutions and the development of web administrations for the developped applications.

The solutions will be provided as a framework flexible, similar the PHP VoiceXML framework and allowing to develop easily VoiceXML applications and in the same time providing the management tools necessary for that. The main package that I'll work on will be :

  • VoiceXML Authentification module
  • Users management module
  • Application management module
  • Permission module
  • Stats and maintenance.

This is just a draft of ideas that I would like to implement in the next version of the PHP VoiceXML Framework and it will be the next generation of telephony application development fully powered by PHP. I'm seeking contributors to join the project will be released under the GPL licence.
